Storytelling.
I'm a UX and Product leader based in Seattle, Washington. With over 15+ years of experience as a designer, my journey began with a unique foundation – a background in journalism.
As a journalism major with zero design background, I was told I couldn't be a designer. Challenge accepted. A decade later, I blend storytelling into visuals, creating designs that not only look good but engage and inform. My unlikely start became my unique strength.
My expertise now spans Design Strategy, Creative Direction, and UX/UI. I've had the privilege of working with industry leaders like JCPenney, Alaska Airlines, Microsoft, and Boeing.
Throughout my career, I've led design initiatives, mentored junior designers, and tackled complex projects across various sectors.
Fun facts.
I have 6 of them! Not on purpose. They each have a story. They're each smaller doggos. I'm sorry but they refuse to sit still for a family photo.
Being a mentor for designers is like being their secret weapon. You get to share your tricks of the trade, cheer them on, and watch them shine. It's all about guiding them through the design maze, celebrating their victories, and giving them that extra push when needed. Seeing them grow and bring fresh ideas to life is like watching a thrilling adventure unfold.
I grew up as a latchkey kid. I had a personal relationship with the microwave. We were like two ships passing in the night. We would see each other for a few minutes every day, but then we would go our separate ways. No wonder I'm a hopeless romantic.
Let's talk about your business deign needs.
But wait...the doggos!
A collection of my doggos in no particular order.
